“ good group, I wish the hikes were longer and more difficult ”
— Gerry on Sep 9, 2007.
“ Great fun. Would only make a couple of suggestions. Other hike areas could include Catoctin S.P., Great Falls N.P., Sugar Loaf Mtn, Greenbelt S.P., amongst numerous other areas... Maybe also would include a few hikes with pack lunches, and stops midway, for longer hikes, or lunch/dinner out afterwards.. ”

“ This hiking meetup was really terrific. The views were wonderful. The inclines were quite a challenge, it was no picnic in the park. I felt it was well managed, I felt welcomed, and the guides rest periods seem to be perfectly timed. Thanks to everyone that lent a helping hand when needed. As advised, I indeed need to set my treadmill incline from 2 to 14. LOL. I feel accomplished! I would definitely recommend trying this one. ”

“ All organizers should pre-hike their trails and bring navigational equipment. They should rank their hikes first thing on their listing: difficult, moderate, and easy. Organizers should always look out to see if the hikers in the rear are doing OK (stop worrying about leading and check on people!). If you don't want slower, no experience hikers, please say so on your listing! Also, although I'm fit enough to do the difficult trails myself, I feel there should be an "easy" event every month or so for new, beginner hikers, so they can get aquainted to the conditions for hiking. ”
