What a great way to start summer vacation that with a hike, a soak and good company.
"The Middle Fork Trail is non-motorized. Trails provide access to high mountain peaks and some hot springs. Some trails access the Landmark and Stolle Meadows areas."
Difficulty Level: Intermediate
Directions: Boiling Springs is located in southwestern Idaho, 23 miles north of Garden Valley. Take National Forest Road 698 (NF-698) north from Crouch. Watch for recreation signs. The trailhead parking lot is on the left and a chain will be across the road in front of you . There are several hot springs in the area and great trails that don't allow motorized vehicles so this is a great place to go.
For those of you who use maps it is I will have 8.5 x 11" copies of the trails in the area.
What to Bring: A picnic lunch, lots of water and snacks for along the trail.
On A Side Note: I will probably head up Friday evening and camp so let me know we'd love company and the campground at Boiling Springs is lovely.
