I shall be in hiking look.

From exit A3 of the Wanchai MTR station, we would find our way to Ship Street, then Bowen Drive until we reach Bowen Road. From there we shall have a good view of the Victoria Harbour. We would continue our way to the Wan Chai Gap Road and then the "Octopus" Park. That would be the highest point of our hike, from there we shall walk along Aberdeen Reservoir Road to Aberdeen to end the hike. The walk would take about 2 hours.

The "Octopus" Park (Wanchai Gap Park) is so named because it is the intersection of seven roads: Stubbs Road, Aberdeen Reservoir Road, Coombe Road, Middle Gap Road, Mount Cameron Road, Black's Link and Peak Road. Maybe it should be called the "Heptapus" Park instead.

When we reach Ship Street, we shall take a look at å??å?ºå?°first. In a gist, it is a Grade 1 historical building, and a famous haunted house! Please see http://zh.wikipedia.org/wik... (in Chinese)

Sounds like a fun and fab hike, as always. Alas, I've got a party junk going out that morning. (If anyone's up for an even lazier day, let me know!)

13 hikers turned up despite the occasional water drops from heaven in the morning. Admirably some hikers are first-time hikers - thumbs up for them! We hiked slowly, stopping frequently at scenic spots and historic buildings and structures. All the hikers handled extremely well. After the walk seven hikers dispersed into two taxis, three continued to explore the different parts of Aberdeen, two went to fill their stomach, and I jumped onto a bus to Shatin.
